12 June, 2019 — Wayne Fagan, Chair, The Dee Howard Foundation, was inducted as an Honorary Commander of the 433rd Airlift Wing (Alamo Wing) USAF.

The Dee Howard Foundation, San Antonio International Airport, will unveil works by finalists in annual art competition.

SAN ANTONIO – The Dee Howard Foundation is bringing a commercial drone program to different schools around Bexar County.

We are seeking a total of $150,000 in community support to grow an existing endowment that will promote aerospace engineering in memory of aviation innovator and entrepreneur Dee Howard.

San Antonio, Texas – Christina Martinez will be The Dee Howard Foundation’s first Executive Director. Martinez, who has 20 years of executive-level experience in the nonprofit, educational, public affairs, and business sectors, will lead efforts to grow and strengthen the Foundation’s work that is connecting with, inspiring, and guiding students in school districts throughout the region toward educational and career paths in aerospace, aviation, and other exciting technical fields.

San Antonio's Aviation and Aerospace Hall of Fame last evening inducted its second round of local notables, including the first African American in space and America's first Latina military pilot.

WASHINGTON, DC – August 18, 2022 – The Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF) announced today that Olga Custodio, the first Latina military pilot fighter qualified, a trailblazer in military and commercial aviation, will receive the 2022 STEM Award (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) Award during the 35th Annual Hispanic Heritage Awards.

(OCTOBER 28, 2021) -- On October 24th, 2021 the foundation launched its newest contest with the theme, The Future of Flight. “For this year’s contest, we are asking young people to use their imaginations to create art that explores what flight might look like in the next 20 years. 

The creation of a new Aviation and Aerospace Hall of Fame in San Antonio will help nurture future innovators in the field across South Texas. Valero hosted the inaugural dinner Thursday night at a hangar at the San Antonio Airport.

Hallmark University’s President and CEO Joe Fisher joins The Dee Howard Foundation’s Board of Directors, bringing with him nearly thirty years of experience in higher education and training aircraft technicians for the aviation industry.
